Announcing the Winners of the "Embracing Equity” Women’s Empowerment Business Grant!

As the curtains come down on this year's "Embracing Equity" Women’s Empowerment Business Grant initiative, we look back with admiration at the journey undertaken. Applicants showcased their businesses through detailed forms, captivating social campaigns, and strategic outreach, ensuring their ventures received as many votes as possible.

The outpouring of enthusiasm was evident, with hundreds of relevant applications flooding our desks. A heartfelt thank you to every single applicant for taking the time and effort to be a part of this transformative journey.

Over the course of this grant initiative, we received a vast number of email messages and follow-ups. Entrepreneurs from various backgrounds reached out with questions about the grant, application requirements, and other matters. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of messages, we were unable to reply to each and every query. We genuinely regret this oversight and would like to sincerely apologize to anyone whose question or message remained unanswered. We value each one of you and your dedication to making a mark in the entrepreneurial landscape.

Selecting our top three was no easy feat. The winning female entrepreneurs were chosen based on their unique input and the potential impact their businesses can make. We are excited to reveal that the rewards have been disbursed as follows:

We believe that these grants will serve as catalysts, boosting the growth of these female-owned small businesses. More than just the monetary benefit, they're an investment into the broader ecosystem, fostering growth and prosperity within the local communities these outstanding entrepreneurs operate in.

While we are eager to celebrate each winner publicly, we respect their privacy. Hence, identities will remain undisclosed.

Legal terms and conditions of the program

Section 1. Agreement

By submitting content to Finimpact, I accept and agree to the terms and conditions of Finimpact's Legitify Your Small Business Grant Contest Agreement (the "Program"). I acknowledge that my submission does not automatically make me eligible for the Program, and that my eligibility will be determined by Finimpact. I also acknowledge that this Agreement governs my participation in the Program, once I am deemed eligible.

Section 2. Program

To apply for the Program, participants must write a post on their business's Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account, including their unique voting link, #FinimpactGrant4Women, and explaining:

• What your business does (up to 50 words)
• How you plan to use the prize money (up to 50 words)

Winners will be selected by Finimpact's editorial team from among the 100 entrants who receive the most votes via their unique voting links. However, receiving the most votes does not guarantee that a participant will be selected as a winner.

By submitting content, I acknowledge that Finimpact may use it in accordance with their general terms and conditions, and that I grant Finimpact an irrevocable license to use the content. I also acknowledge that the Program is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, and I release them from any claim or liability related to my participation in the Program.

Section 3. Restrictions

(a) Participants must provide a valid email address during the Finimpact account creation process, and their participation in the Program constitutes their permission for Finimpact to use the email address to communicate with them.

(b) Participants must be 18 years of age or older and have a U.S.-based billing address.

(c) Participants acknowledge and agree that their Finimpact information and data may be used in accordance with Finimpact's general terms and conditions.

Section 4. Term of Program

The Program will remain in effect until the application deadline of April 30th, 2023. Finimpact reserves the right to modify the application period, alter or modify the Program or this Agreement, or suspend or terminate the Program or this Agreement at any time for any reason, through notice on Finimpact.com or otherwise. If a participant is later determined not to be eligible for the Program after being notified that they were eligible, their participation in the Program will be terminated.

Section 5. Controlling Law and Severability

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Israel, without reference to its conflicts of law provisions. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of this Agreement, or a portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Section 6. Indemnification

By participating in the Program, each participant agrees to indemnify and hold Finimpact and its parent, affiliate, and subsidiary companies harmless from any liability, damages, losses, or injury resulting from the participant's participation in the Program or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize that may be won. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize is solely the responsibility of the winner.

Section 7. Complete Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement with respect to the Program and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous understandings, representations, statements, or agreements, written or oral. No amendment to, modification of, or waiver of any provision of this Agreement will be binding on Finimpact without written consent, which must be identified as an amendment, modification, or waiver.
