Originally from the funeral industry, she began writing about personal finance after starting her own investing journey. Johnson ultimately left the mortuary business well over a decade ago in order to explore her passion for all things personal finance and travel the world, and Johnson and her husband have built a debt-free lifestyle that has put them on the path to retire very wealthy in their 40's since those early days.
